研究領域

海洋環境和可燃冰:得到美國自然科學基金會和英國工程與物理基金會多個項目的資助。在近海和河流多種複雜條件下的的污染擴散,難降解有機污染物的計算模拟和現場污染治理等方面取得一系列有重要的學術和應用價值的成果。回國後繼續在石油污染物的吸附解析特性方面開展工作。鑒于可燃冰的重大應用前景,回國後開始建立可燃冰研究團隊和實驗室。目前已經在實驗室生成了可燃冰,建成微納尺度的X-射線觀測系統。正在進行可燃冰的機理和開采工藝的研究。

海洋儀器和裝備:獲得了英國工程與物理基金會的重大項目資助,與英國國家實驗室合作以開發超高速度LDV/PIV儀檢測納米顆粒及海洋觀測儀器。在超高速圖像獲取、處理和傳輸等方面取得重要突破,有廣泛和重要的應用價值。回國後得到863重大項目課題和孔雀計劃課題資助,研制成功深海原位微顆粒速度和通量觀測儀器,近期将安放在深海,連入國家海底科學實驗網。正在建設國家級《深圳深海海洋工程裝備配套試驗平台項目》,在深圳大鵬籌建海上試驗場。與企業合作開展創新鍊産業鍊融合項目,開發深海海洋裝備。

海洋動力學:淺水動力學的淺水海島尾流問題是多年來困擾科學家們的難題。首次在實驗室成功的重演了衛星觀測到的洋流大尺度紊動水流結構并找出了流态演變的控制參數。運用穩定性理論成功地獲得與天然觀測和實驗室模拟吻合的結果。實驗成果在權威的國際流體力學年鑒中被評價為非常漂亮的成果。這一創造性工作對淺水動力學作出了重大的貢獻。該研究領域已發展為一門新興學科,是三次國際淺水動力學會議的科學顧問,被公認為該新興學科的主要創始人之一。回國後繼續開展海島和海山尾流的研究,參加由中國海洋大學主持的國家973項目關于島嶼周圍渦動力學的課題。

海洋衛星遙感和信息: 在衛星遙感的中紅外波段信号成功地檢測植物水,所提出的新植物指數NDWI在國際上得到廣泛認可。單篇文章SCI引用近600次。回國後正在開展海洋遙感方面的工作, 包括衛星高度計,SAR等方面。在信息科學方面,與美國大氣與海洋管理局合作開發了現代化的環境和水文信息系統用于河流和近海環境污染預測和防洪,并且作為歐洲環境和水文開放式系統的一部分繼續開發。回國後主持環保部公益科研項目關于污水排海優化的數據庫和信息系統開發。
